Orders are the core unit of work in Platted. Each order represents a title examination for a specific property.

Order Workflow

A typical order follows this workflow:

  1. Create - Enter order and property information
  2. Upload - Add documents for examination
  3. Process - System extracts data from documents
  4. Examine - Review chain of title and runsheet
  5. Complete - Finalize the examination

Order Components

Each order contains:

  • Order Information - Order number, dates, examiner assignment
  • Property Information - Address, county, legal description
  • Party Information - Buyers and sellers
  • Documents - Uploaded title documents
  • Runsheet - Extracted matters and chain of title
