Completing Orders

When you've finished examining a title, mark the order as complete.

Before Completing

Before marking an order complete, ensure:

  1. All documents reviewed - Check that all uploaded documents have been processed and reviewed
  2. Runsheet accurate - Verify the chain of title and matter entries are correct
  3. Issues resolved - Address any review queue items or low-confidence extractions

Marking Complete

To complete an order:

  1. Open the Order Detail page
  2. Click the Mark Complete button in the reference strip
  3. A confirmation dialog appears
  4. Confirm to complete the order

After Completion

Once completed:

  • The order status changes to Completed
  • The order becomes read-only
  • No further changes can be made to documents or runsheet
  • The order remains visible in the dashboard with completed status

Completed Order Access

You can still:

  • View order details
  • View documents
  • View the runsheet
  • Export or print (if available)

You cannot:

  • Upload new documents
  • Edit extracted data
  • Modify matter entries
  • Change order information

Reopening Orders

If you need to make changes to a completed order, use the Help & Feedback link to request assistance. Completed orders are locked to maintain examination integrity.
