User Roles
Platted supports different user roles with varying levels of access.
Role Types
Read Only
Read Only users can:
- View orders assigned to their organization
- View documents and runsheets
- Cannot create, edit, or modify orders
Examiner
Examiners have all read capabilities plus:
- Create new orders
- Upload documents
- Review and edit extracted document data
- Manage matters and chain of title entries
- Complete title examinations
- Process review queue items
Lead Examiner
Lead Examiners have all examiner capabilities plus:
- Assign orders to other examiners
- Manage examiner workload distribution
Organization Access
All users belong to an organization. You can only see and work with orders belonging to your organization. This ensures data privacy and proper separation between different title companies or offices.
Examiner Assignment
Orders can be assigned to specific examiners. When an order is assigned to you:
- It appears in your filtered view when using the examiner filter
- You're responsible for completing the title examination
- Other examiners can still view the order but you're the primary assignee
